Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program Application

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee consisting of the Director of Physical Therapy, Clinical Residency Coordinator, Ithaca College Liaison, and clinical faculty.

The application will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Academic education
Clinical education and mentoring experiences
Clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy


Minimal eligibility requirements for acceptance into the program include:
Eligible for New York State physical Therapy license
Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Professional training program (Masters or Doctorate of Physical Therapy)


Desirable applicants include those who:
Completed an internship under the direct supervision of an orthopedic certified specialist
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess strong clinical reasoning skills and the application of manual examination and treatment procedures
