Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program Application
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee consisting of the Director of Physical
Therapy, Clinical Residency Coordinator, Ithaca College Liaison, and clinical faculty.
|The application will be evaluated based on the following criteria:|
|||Clinical education and mentoring experiences|
|||Clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy|
|Minimal eligibility requirements for acceptance into the program include:|
|||Eligible for New York State physical Therapy license|
||Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Professional training program (Masters or Doctorate of Physical Therapy)|
|Desirable applicants include those who:|
|||Completed an internship under the direct supervision of an orthopedic certified specialist|
|||Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills|
|||Possess strong clinical reasoning skills and the application of manual examination and treatment procedures|
