Dr. Mauser joined the medical staff of Cayuga Medical Center in 1994, bringing new expertise in transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and pharmacologic stress echocardiology. He worked closely with Cayuga Medical Center administration and the Cardiac Services team to establish one of the first freestanding Cardiac Catheterization programs in New York State. Dr. Mauser is actively committed to community education about risk factors for heart disease and the signs and symptoms of heart attack. He has been a leading advocate for increasing the availability of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in Tompkins County. Dr. Mauser is the founder of Cayuga Cardiology.
