Dr. Lee returned to her hometown with her family to become the Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Cayuga Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, before attending George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. After completing a residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, she joined their faculty and became an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, where she was honored with the Dr. Richard J. Kennedy Attending Teacher of the Year award. Dr. Lee has over 20 years of clinical experience providing primary care to underserved communities, with particular interest in women’s health, health-care equity, and LGBTQ cultural competence.
