Dr. Cora Foster has special interest and expertise in endocrine-system surgery, including thyroid and parathyroid surgery. She worked closely with Ithaca endocrinologist Dr. Adam Law and Dr. Dan Sudilovsky, director of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cayuga Medical Center, to establish the Thyroid Nodule Clinic at Cayuga Medical Center. This multidisciplinary thyroid clinic is one of the few of its kind in the country. Additionally, Dr. Foster serves as medical director of the Cayuga Center for Wound Healing at Cayuga Medical Center, which offers state-of-the-art wound care, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy for treating chronic wounds. She is also active in the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons.
