Prior to joining Cayuga Medical Associates he was director of the departments of neurology and newborn neurology at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, where he also served as director of the designated stroke center. He practices both adult and pediatric neurology. Dr. Halpert is the medical director of the Stroke Team at Cayuga Medical Center.
