The Thyroid Nodule Clinic
at Cayuga Medical Center is a comprehensive multidisciplinary care team. We provide an integrated service
specializing in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of thyroid nodules.
Nodules (lumps) on the
thyroid are common and while most of them are benign, about eight percent are
cancerous. Our closely knit team of experts streamlines the diagnostic process
and develops an individual care plan for each patient.

The Thyroid Nodule Clinic
is held regularly every month in the Radiation Medicine Department of Cayuga
Medical Center.
A thyroid function test
(TSH) and a thyroid imaging test (ultrasound) are recommended prior to an
appointment at the clinic. These tests are available at Cayuga Medical Center.
