Medical Center announced today that it has received national recognition in the
26th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards.
CMC
received a silver award for “The Center Is You” campaign that rolled out in
2008. “The Center Is You” puts the community at the center of everything within
the CMC network of patient care. In addition, Cayuga Medical Center won a Merit
Award for Health Visions Magazine, a publication that provides health and
wellness information and is distributed throughout the community.
“The
Center Is You” branding campaign was created with our patients and the
community in mind. We exist to provide the highest quality health care services
to our community and our branding reflects this commitment,” said John W.
Turner, vice president of public relations. “Health Visions Magazine is
focused on educating our community about various health related topics. It
reaches residents throughout the region and is also available on line,” Turner
said.
The
Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards recognize health care organizations
throughout the United States for creative marketing work. Cayuga Medical Center
was one of 3,600 Healthcare organizations to be evaluated in the 2009 awards.
This is the first time Cayuga Medical Center has been recognized.
